Angela

Legal Assistant
Angela was born in Hong Kong. After graduating from
Southern Oregon University in 1975, Angela moved to
Toronto and joined the law firm of Kan, Mark and Poon.
She started working in the real estate department and
later found herself working in all areas of the legal
profession. Angela has been working with Mr. Robert
Mark for over 25 years. When Mr. Mark joined Coutts
Crane in July, 2002, Angela joined the firm as well.
Angela enjoys reading and watching television.

Zilda

Law Clerk
Zilda Correia joined our team in May, 2005. Zilda
graduated from George Brown college in 1989 and from
The Institute of Law Clerks in 1995. She is an active
member of the Institute for Law Clerk of Ontario.
Zilda came to Coutts Crane with many years of real
estate experience and is a valued member of our real
estate team.
In her spare time, Zilda enjoys spending time with
her family, friends and pets. She also enjoys taking
courses to improve her knowledge in real estate, reading,
writing, music and traveling.

Legal Assistant
Donna Fyfle is one of our long service employees
having joined Coutts Crane on October 17, 1977.
Originally employed to work with Elgin Coutts
in the Estate’s area of his practice, Donna’s
career has evolved over the years and now is somewhat
more diverse. Although Donna continues to work
on Elgin Coutts’ estate files, she now also
finds herself doing estate files for all of the
other lawyers in the firm who appreciate the expertise
she has gained over the past 22 years. In addition
to the estates area of the firm, Donna works with
Mr. Coutts in his corporate practice and works
with all of the lawyers at Coutts Crane when it
comes to doing wills for our clients.
Born and raised in Toronto, Donna has two children
and when not working or raising her daughters,
she finds time to play tennis, loves dancing,
reading and the challenge of the Crossword Puzzle.

Mary

Accounting Clerk
Mary has been employed by Coutts Crane since
1990 in the capacity of accounting clerk. Ensuring
our accounts are processed and paid on time, Mary
is an integral member of the firm. In the small
firm environment, Mary quite often finds herself
called upon to perform other non-accounting functions
and always does so with a smile and a cheery attitude.
Mary was born in Italy and immigrated to Canada
with her family when she was a baby. Now the mother
of a young daughter herself, she enjoys spending
every free moment watching her grow and learn.

Diane

Receptionist
Diane is the first person you see when you walk
through the front door at Coutts Crane. She has
been with the firm since August 1998, her work experience
is varied and quite extensive. Diane has numerous
responsibilities at Coutts Crane, ranging from answering
phones and greeting clients, to assisting the legal
secretaries and law clerks when typing long documents
and helping with the accountant department when
needed.
Diane also has an active range of outside interests.
She organizes and participates in historical fashion
shows as well as acting as a volunteer interpreter
in several historical homes. She makes and sells
items for country craft fairs and has won several
awards for best display of handmade items. In
addition, Diane researches and collects historical
costumes and now is the owner of a beautiful black
cat named Ace. She is currently on the executive
board of four historical societies, plus volunteers
at Art Gallery of Ontario and the Elgin Theatre
in Toronto. |
Judy

Legal Assistant
For all intents and purposes, Judy is the backbone
of the Corporate Department at Coutts Crane. Although
she has significant experience in many different
departments as well as previous office management
responsibilities, she is most comfortable addressing
and executing the issues of the private corporation.
With 25 plus years of experience, she provides
a unique and very professional insight to the
day to day challenges of corporate work and is
considered a key resource of CCI by all who know
her.
In her off hours, her interests include her family
and friends, long distance motorcycle cruising,
swimming, scuba diving, cooking and reading.

Superna

Law Clerk
Superna joined Coutts Crane in November 2001
as the assistant, to Robert O’Brien. Superna
brings with her 10 years experience as a legal
assistant to the firm. She obtained her Law Clerk
Diploma in 1990. The primary area of law that
she is involved with at the firm includes, but
is not limited to, Civil Litigation and Family
law. Superna deals with clients in a very pleasant
manner to ensure satisfaction and comfort.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Superna immigrated to
Canada with her family in 1970. Superna is kept
busy with her daughter and keeps the time away
from the office to enjoy various activities with
her. Superna enjoys dancing, music, movies and
once was a volunteer coordinator for an Indian
dance school in Toronto. |
Elizabeth Van

Legal Assistant
Elizabeth is a legal assistant in Family Law
and litigation fields and enjoys interacting with
clients and other legal professionals.
When not at work, Elizabeth takes pleasure in
walking with her two clever poodles, training
them in obedience and tricks. She also attempts
training her two cats in obedience. |
Chara
Wong

Legal Assistant
Chara first joined Coutts Crane in August 2002
in a temporary capacity and became a permanent
part of our team in May 2005 as a legal assistant
in the real estate department. Chara has many
years of paralegal experience and provides seamless
support to lawyers and senior law clerks with
real estate transactions.
Chara enjoys leisure activities such as fishing,
knitting, gardening, cooking and reading.
