Robert McGlashan represents clients on a wide range of civil litigation
and family matters. He is most experienced in the areas of commercial, construction,
and administrative law.
Robert has frequently appeared as counsel and been involved in complex
litigation at all levels of court, including the Court of Appeal
and the Supreme Court of Canada. Robert prides himself on providing
his clients with an excellent standard of representation through
both written and oral advocacy as well as negotiation.
Robert obtained his LLB from Osgoode Hall Law School. At Osgoode,
Robert represented the school internationally as part of the negotiation
team. Robert obtained a Bachelor of Science from Victoria College
at University of Toronto where he obtained a gold medal and was
awarded a Natural Science and Engineering Research Counsel award
in the life sciences.
Robert is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian
Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Robert is also
a frequent speaker and writer and has prepared a number of papers
for publication.
When he is away from work, Robert spends time with his family including
his wife and his friends. Robert is also an accomplished competitive
swimmer and takes part in running marathons, climbing and scuba
diving.
